The 11th Hour

By Sammy Farington Creative Director (UK)

The circle signifies the planet – a simple, pure, complete symbol. A rainbow is a symbol of hope and of better times to come. And, when seen from above, rainbows are actually circles. It also reminds us of a throbber – the spinning wheel indicating that the system may have an error and that something may be wrong. The eleventh hour is the latest possible time before it is too late. Too late for society? Too late for nature? Too late for the planet? The rainbow circle, broken at the eleventh hour becomes a symbol for change, a warning that time may be running out, but there is still hope!
